Reishi Mushroom is perhaps the most beloved of all precious foods. Called Ling Zhi in Traditional Chinese Medicine, traditionally Reishi is considered to nourish all 3 treasures, Jing, Chi and Shen.
Reishi's first detailed description was written in Shen Nong's Pharmacopeia, a book attributed to the legendary herbalist-emperor Shen Nong (Han Dynasty, 206 B.C.~ 8 AD). Images of Reishi Mushrooms are prolific throughout ancient Chinese Culture and are joyfully presented by wonderful cast of revered legendary characters, Taoist Sages and Buddhist Bodhistvas.
Reishi is the most studied natural substance on earth and science continues to show up remarkable functions its active ingredients produce, although under EU law we are forbidden from sharing an iota of this wonderful research with you.
The once extremely rare and precious Reishi mushroom is now cultivated with superb results. This means that more people than ever people can experience consuming Reishi.
At Raw Living, we have been using Reishi in this way for many years and we are passionate about bringing this new class of foods to you, and showing you how you can introduce them into your kitchen. When we consume these foods on a regular basis, we learn to be more aware of our body's needs, and more conscious that the very best way of keeping healthy is to watch what we eat. On this site and in Kate's books, we offer information on the most easy and accessible ways to take in these foods that can help keep us balanced and well.
It is with regret that we are unable to share with you more information about this product. Various EU legislation forbids us (and all other food business operators) from claiming that these products can offer any possible health benefits. Many of our customers already know about these foods, and come back to us time and time again for their favourite items. We ask customers new and old to do your own research, and to trust Raw Living to provide you and your nearest and dearest with the best quality products at the lowest prices. Thank you for your understanding.
