*Reduced to clear space*  Excalibur use the traditional lacto-fermentation technique to create a delicious blend of vegan, wholesome goodness for your good health. The best quality wild-crafted herbs, vegetables and superfoods are prepared by hand and then placed in ceramic crock pots for several weeks to fuse all the flavours.

The natural bacteria feed on the sugar and starch to create lactic acid which preserves the food. Loaded with beneficial enzymes, B-vitamins, Omega-3 fatty acids, and various strains of probiotic, these ferments should be an essential part of your diet.

From the supplier:

"We tested samples of high quality fermented organic vegetables made with our specific starter culture, and a typical serving (about two to three ounces) contained not only ten trillion beneficial bacteria, it also had 500 mcg of vitamin k2, which we now know is a vital co nutrient to both vitamin D and calcium. Most high quality probiotic supplements will only supply you with a fraction of the beneficial bacteria found in such homemade fermented veggies, so it's your most economical route to optimal gut health as well. Some people report that they have a difficult time digesting raw food. Cultured foods we think are the answer to this common obstacle. Not only are they predigested but also due to the supernatural forces at play with the fermentation process they actually have a surplus of enzymes which go to aid the digesting and breakdown of other food materials. not only that they can be an aid in other areas of the metabolic process."

*Please note: While we naturally make every effort to ensure that products arrive with you in the best condition, the cultured/fermented vegetable range occasionally leak. We tape around the lid, protect the glass jar with bubble wrap and put this into a sealed bag. Any leaks do not affect the product in any way, the fermentation builds pressure in the jar that forces some liquid out. Simply wipe off. We do not replace any products that have leaked (as there's nothing wrong with them!), or any other products in your order in the rare occasion that liquid finds its way out of its sealed packaging and onto them.*
