Description

Eleuthero root, also known as Siberian Ginseng, is a supreme adaptogenic herb that nourishes the Kidneys.

Eleuthero has a positive effect on the metabolic state through maintenance of normal glucocorticoid activity of the adrenal glands and increased brain catecholamine neurotransmitter formation, both important for energy production and motivation of physical activity.

This herb is well known as an adaptogen to help with better withstanding stress during adverse conditions.

The adrenal gland becomes exhausted during periods of chronic stress leading to reduced output of hormones.

Eleuthero reduces the adverse effects of chronic stress on the adrenal glands helping to preserve its healthy function.

Jing Herbs, which has its headquarters in Los Angeles, California, is a formulator and manufacturer of the finest and most authentic tonic herb formulas available in the world. “Jing” was chosen as the company name from ancient Taoist text simply because it means the source, the foundation, the primal “essence” of human beings.

The company was founded and incorporated by George J. Lamoureux on 02-02-2002. With a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture from the prestigious Yo San University and an extensive background in clinical and tonic herbalism, George Lamoureux is considered one of the world’s top authorities of Taoist tonic herbalism, health, longevity, and nutrition.

George Lamoureux (founder of Jing Herbs) says, "(Herbalism) has become much too serious for a lot of people, that's not what it's meant to be. Herbalism can be a lot of fun, and it can really bring joy to your life. Don't get so stuck on dosages - play with it, experiment with it, see where it takes you. Sometimes you will make mistakes, it's not a bad thing. Lighten up a bit about it.."

Ingredients

Eleutherococcus senticosus root extract.

Further Information

Let’s face it. We know what needs to be done to be healthy and happy. Exercise. Eat right. Meditate more often. Take long walks in nature. Relax more often. But the truth is that life gets in the way of doing all those things we would like to do on a regular basis.

You need three elements – Vitalized Energy, Reduced Stress, and Increased Adaptability.

You’re probably already familiar with the word “Qi,” that loosely translates as “Energy.” Qi is also known as the second Treasure in the “Three Treasures” of Traditional Chinese Medicine and philosophy. The first Treasure is known as “Jing” or “Essence,” and the third Treasure is known as “Shen” or “Spirit.” Together, these Three Treasures form the foundation of health and longevity. Jing is a deep source of energy is meant to last us a lifetime and forms our basic constitution. Qi is the day-to-day energy we derive from the foods we eat and the air we breathe. Shen is our spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being; it is our connection to our higher selves, and that which makes us fully realized human beings. To be truly successful, you must have all Three Treasures protected, nourished, and balanced.

The only true state of health is perfect adaptability and capacity to manage the unrelenting physical, biological, emotional, and environmental stressors that we have to endure. This kind of stress requires assistance. The ancient sages and herbalist long ago discovered the power of herbs for maintaining homeostasis, and science is now backing that up. Assure your success in the face of life’s challenges with Jing Herbs.

Quality Assurance:

In the face of domestic concerns over the adulteration of foods and botanical materials coming from China, Jing Herbs continues to raise the bar on quality, purity, and safety.

At Jing Herbs, we sincerely want consumers to be able to experience and benefit from the vast bounty of the herbs that grow in China, and the 5,000 years of traditional wisdom that has brought the herbal industry to its current position of prominence there. In every way possible, we strive to produce products that achieve that goal, while working to dispel the myth that herbal ingredients from processors in China are of unknown quality. We at Jing Herbs are proud to stand 100% behind the quality, purity, and safety of our products.

Quality, Safety & Purity:

Vertical Integration from Seed to Drum

While there are sourcing challenges and questionable practices in the open market for botanical raw materials in China, we have worked hard to stay out of the typical sourcing loop. To do this, we have partnered with a vertically integrated manufacturer. At the farm or wild-crafting site, our manufacturing partner ensures complete characterization of final product identity and composition first with the proper identification of the raw plant materials. This raw botanicals purchasing group has extensive training in botany and Traditional Chinese Medicine that is indispensable during site visits. Over 70% of our incoming raw plant material is ethically wild-crafted. To begin, these botanists test for proper botanical species identification using a combination of macroscopic physical examination of plant parts and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) analysis, looking for unique marker compounds, and also screening for pesticides and heavy metals. Only plants that are the right species, are unadulterated and clean, and have not been damaged in harvesting pass our thorough quality assurance protocol.

Water Processing

At the manufacturing facility, the raw plant material is processed in pure, clean, natural water. No alcohol, hexane or other industrial solvent is ever used, ensuring that no solvent residues will ever be present in the finished extract. If any other materials are used in formulating or packaging, only pharmaceutical grade components are used. The water used for extraction undergoes a purification process that includes multilayer micro filtration, activated charcoal filtration, deionization, and multi-stage UV light treatment. The resulting water we use is USP grade. Through a proprietary reiterative process, even stubborn compounds with low water solubility are extracted into the full spectrum result.

Thorough Analytical Testing

Throughout the processing procedure, the extracts are subjected to extensive analytical testing. This is another layer of assurance that we provide you with the best quality, the authentic species and plant parts, the proper marker compounds, and the full spectrum proportions of constituents. To achieve this, a combination of technologies is used, including simple organoleptic testing, HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), HPTLC (High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography), and UV Spectrophotometry. The HPTLC fingerprinting process ensures batch to batch consistency and no adulteration.

Clean Room Packaging

After the extract ingredients are spray dried into a powder, the powder is collected in an isolated temperature and humidity controlled clean room area of the facility. The clean room area prevents contamination of extract powders from moisture, dirt, and other extract powders. The finished powder is double bagged with an ultra low diffusion Mylar® layer, then nitrogen flushed and packaged in protective drums for additional quality assurance.
ISO 9001:2000 Certification

The manufacturing facilities were constructed specifically to conform to internationally recognized quality standards. The Quality System Manual for the establishment and maintenance of manufacturing standards conforms to the International Standards Organization ISO9001:2000 standard for manufacturing. Certification was performed by the internationally renowned Norwegian certifier DNV (Det Norske Veritas), one of the top 3 ISO9000 certifiers worldwide. Compliance with ISO9001:2000 standards is ensured by an on-site audit of the quality system every 6 months.
