Our Raw British wildflower honey has been gathered by hard working bees and beekeepers from all over the country, with each batch being jarred separately. What makes our British honey great is we try to give you the same experience as eating the honey straight from the hive.

Our honey is raw so it is coarsely filtered, meaning only the bits you don't want to eat, like bees and wax are left behind but all the pollen goodness stays in the honey, perfect for hay fever suffers. Not only is it coarsely filtered, we don't heat our honey above 40oc, so all of the enzymes that make honey good for you are left intact. The honey its self is generally very sweet and very floral.

It is with regret that we are unable to share with you more information about this product. Various EU legislation forbids us (and all other food business operators) from claiming that these products can offer any possible health benefits. Many of our customers already know about these foods, and come back to us time and time again for their favourite items. We ask customers new and old to do your own research, and to trust Raw Living to provide you and your nearest and dearest with the best quality products at the lowest prices. Thank you for your understanding.

Hilltop Honey was founded in September 2011 when I, Scott Davies, decided to start keeping bees in the back garden of my Mum and Dad's house during the summer of that year. By the time September came around, I knew that keeping bees and selling honey was what I wanted to do for a living, so I set about making that dream into a reality.

After knocking on doors and selling to my local shops, I fast ran out of honey. Quite a big deal when you are trying to run a honey company!! This led me down a path of meeting some very interesting beekeepers who produced lots of honey but weren’t really bothered about selling it in jars. This was great news for me so I began buying honey off other beekeepers and selling that.

We now sell honey form our own bees, and six other beekeepers which is great. Together, we have thousands of hives supplying into Hilltop Honey meaning lots of British bees are kept alive by people buying our wonderful produce. The mainstay of our business is selling Raw honey as this is how I truly believe we should all eat our honey. We ensure our honey is coarsely filtered and not heated to provide you with maximum taste and health benefits from honey.

We now operate out of a plant in Caersws which is a great deal bigger than my Mum and Dads kitchen from when I first started. We can now jar honey in bigger more efficient quantities but still carry that ethos of providing raw, quality honey.
