Kale Chips Raw (80g) - Spicy Wasabi Wheatgrass

Introducing new kale chips, from the kitchens of the Inspiral Lounge! They are crunchy and delicious, and soo good for you! This nutritious raw snack is made from dehydrated kale leaves. There are four delicious varieties, all available here:

Wasabi & Wheatgrass: Seasoned with cashew nuts, wasabi, sesame seeds, cyder vinegar, Braggs liquid aminos, wheatgrass, Himalayan crystal salt and cayenne pepper.

Baobab & Onion: Organic kale, raw cashew nuts, baobab superfruit, onion, black pepper, Himalayan crystal salt

Cheesie Purple Corn: Seasoned with cashew nuts, nutritional yeast flakes (rich in B vitamins), purple corn extract and Hymalayan crystal salt.

Raw Cacao & Cinnamon: Local Kale (we source organic but are not certified yet), raw cashew nuts, coconut palm sugar (not raw), raw cacao powder, cinnamon, vanilla Beans, himalayan crystal salt

Zana, Inspiral's lovely raw food chef, and the creative energy behind these unique healthy snacks, tells us that kale, being a member of the brassica family has excellent nutritional properties. Kale is loaded with calcium, an element that rarely appears in fruit and vegetables, as well as vitamin C and iron, manganese, potassium, and beta-carotene which is an important nutrient for good vision. This immune boosting superveg also contains high levels of chlorophyll, a plant pigment that gives plants their characteristic green colour. The molecular structure of chlorophyll is similar to haemoglobin, which is used for carrying blood around out body. Not only does it increase oxygen availability in the body, it helps with the rapid assimilation of amino acids and boosts your immune system.

Zana spent some time experimenting with different flavours - she wanted the kale chips to resemble some of the better known mainstream flavours and thus appeal to broad palette: for example, salt and vinegar has been transformed into Baobab and cyder vinegar - with premium Himalayan Crystal Salt

She wanted to add a unique dash of colour to each of the flavours, and to get optimum superfoods in where possible, Zana transformed the "cheesie" recipe into a visionary purple wonder by incorporating purple corn extract. The "wasabi" recipe is likewise greened with nutritious whetagrass powder.

With each of the varieties containing these nutritionally powerful superfoods, they are truely a high energy, superfood fueled delicacy, and also make them the superior choice for a healthy snack or lunch box.

You’ll be pleased to know they are entirely raw, vegan, sugar free and gluten free, making them available to all of our lovely customers. "Cheesie" flavour is also soya free. The other flavours contain Braggs liquid aminos which is a raw health product made from fermented soy.
