SuperMagic

The mellow birds of Raw chocolate. SuperMagic is a layerlicious DuoPolitain bar.  It's a two toned chocolate bar comprising of a layer of Raw Living's famous Be the Change Bar (containing Etherium Gold and Crystal Manna) and the new Truth bar (a white chocolate bar containing Mucuna and Aulterra).  That is a lot of super foods.

Texturally, it's nice and hard like all of Raw Living's choc bars, no coconut butter in here… the combination of dark and light make for a less buzzy, more mellow and smooth chocolate flight.  As I have mentioned before, I'm one of those sensitive souls for which too much cacao can bring on the jitters, but in this combination it's not too much stimulation and all the right frequencies, perfect any time of day when you fancy a sweet, uplifting treat.

If you haven't yet had the pleasure of trying the new chocolate bar from Raw Living's alchemical kitchen, then you're in for a treat.

Supermagic is both super and magic, of this there can be no doubt. It's a double layer of chocolatey goodness, the bottom half is Be The Change (one of my favourite raw chocolate bars ever) and the top is Truth, a creamier, fudgey white chocolate style bar that is made without cacao powder creating a much more balanced effect than you usually get from chocolate. This is the light and the shadow, the yin and the yang, the day and the night of chocolate. And it rocks.

Containing aulterra and etherium gold which help to balance the body and brain along with uplifting mucuna and revitalising crystal manna this really is more than just another chocolate bar.

I haven't consumed milk chocolate for many years but in my imagination, the creamier, smoother consistency that you get with this bar is more akin to it and has a gentler and more comforting effect on me as a result. I definitely found it less stimulating than pure chocolate bars and it would be my bar of choice for those busy stressful time when we crave chocolate but find the stimulating effects too much.

Like a chocolately cuddle Supermagic uplifts but also balances. It's creamy, smooth and delicious and it comes superhighly recommended.

Just when I thought no chocolate bar on the planet would come close to my favourite Lucky Me bar, she's gone and done it again!  Yep, Miss Magic has waved her magic chocolate wand and created a new chocolate bar creation even more delicious than is scienterrifically possible!

The new SuperMagic is like a raw version of a Double Decker bar (are they still on the go?), not in taste (it's way better than that), but in concept.  This lastest bar is a fabulous fusion of a Be the Change chocolate bar and a Truth chocolate bar in one. Check it out:

These two bars brought together create a fabulously rich and creamy chocolate experience guaranteed to send you to the chocolate dimension.  I love how well the flavours combine and melt together and because you're effectively eating two bars in one, you get double the superfood benefits with a heady combo of Etherium Gold, Crystal Manna, Mucuna and Aulterra, quite a potent punch I'm sure you'll agree!

The even better news is that this is a King-sized bar, fit for a chocolate queen coming in at a chocolate-lover satisfying 50g.  I even had enough left over for the next day!

Truth

I wanted to try this one because I really love the Lucky Me bar and wondered if this would topple it from it’s ‘Emma’s favourite raw choc bar’ position.

Truth is Kate’s seventh chocolate bar to be released, following on from Whoosh, Hi-crunch, Be the Change, Hi-Buzz, Hi-Lovers & LuckyMe.  On her site, Kate says Truth ‘contains no cacao nibs or powder, so if you’re looking for a less stimulating bar, without the cacao buzz, this is the bar you’ve been waiting for.'

It contains cacao butter, lucuma, mesquite, agave, mucuna and aulterra.  I hadn’t heard of Mucuna before but having checked it out apparently it’s a source of naturally occurring 5Htp, DMT, and boosts dopamine in the brain!

So, what’s the truth about Truth?

Wellllll.  Let me begin by saying I very much love this bar!  It really is a much more chilled kind of chocolate bar and it literally does melt in your mouth with a very creamy quality.  I’m usually wary of chocolate bars with mesquite in them because I find mesquite can be quite an overpowering taste and can somewhat detract from the rest of the flavours but this isn’t the case with Truth.  It’s a really subtle flavour reminiscent of the fudge of a Cadbury’s Fudge bar but not as sickly sweet.

As it is more of a fudgey kind of bar if you’re after a cacao buzz then this isn’t the bar for you.  I do like my chocolate bars to have a bit of a kick in them which is why I usually opt for something with cacao powder for an extra buzz but in saying that I’ve already had my quota of raw chocolate today so this is actually really nice for me to have as an after tea-time treat that I don’t have to worry about over-buzzing myself and dancing round the kitchen till 3am

Because it hasn’t any cacoa powder or nibs I think this bar is perfect for you if you are after a subtle cacao hit rather than a smack in the face with a shovel hit that you can get from other raw choc bars!

I’m quite pleased actually because for an awful moment I thought it might knock Lucky Me off the number 1 position but actually it’s up there with it but for a different reason.  To me Lucky Me and Truth are like yin and yang, equal but opposite and very complimentary.

I gave a bit to my husband and he said “nice, but it’s not like chocolate, cos it’s a bit chewier” – there you go, prize winning review from my husband, he has such a way with words don't you think?

Truth

What is the Truth I hear you ask! Well let me tell you.... Truth melts in the mouth with a caramel flavour. It has the consistency of fudge and unlike some of the other raw chocolates on the market it has no waxy flavour. Truth is a sweet bar and not overpowering like a dark rich cacao bar can be.

Truth has two amazing superfoods including Aulterra and Mucuna. Both of these left me feeling happy and contented for hours after eating it. Mucuna contains naturally occurring 5HTP which creates happiness chemicals in the body. Aulterra neutralizes the effects of toxins and enhances the utilization of other foods by as much as 60%, as well as harmonising your DNA when you take it.

My little boy loved it! In fact he ate a whole bar to himself! He would usually only eat a small amount of cacao due to the strong flavour but with Truth he devoured the whole lot. The effect of which created a happy and full of life little boy. I am now hooked and will be truthful with you, it is GREAT!

Truth

Now this 40g bar of Magic, as it is clearly stated on the label, is the perfect not overly sweet treat for a night time snack attack or if one is aware that one’s adrenal glands would please like a little rest from Cacao and its associated rushhhhhhh.  Truth is a fudge bar containing only the Cacao butter and not the dark powder, thus allowed me to indulge in a creamy taste and texture sensation whilst being uplifted in spirit by Mucuna and a little bit of outer space, thanks to Aulterra. In typical Kate Magic fashion, this bar contains not only the finest raw, low glycemic ingredients and years of experience, but also these two super supplements, both of which I use at home from time to time so it’s great to know products exist that you can buy with something extra special in them.  I found myself deeply relaxed after my fudge bar and satisfied with life in general.
