Muira Puama gives me wings

Although largely famed for its aphrodisiacal properties, Muira Puama's value to me has been its restorative and energising effects. I am a sensitive soul and living in the city is hard work sometimes and I find myself exhausted by the constant battles and sensory overload. I have very sensitive adrenals and found that if i put a small amount (1/4 teaspoon) Muira Puama into a smoothie in the morning, my energy levels were increased and stable. At first I noticed an energy buzz, if you are sensitive to stimulants then I'd definitely recommend taking Muira Puama in the morning or before 2pm. I didn't get a crash like you get from caffeine, it's more like Siberian Ginseng in that it's a softer, more supported energy boost.
Muira Puama powder has an earthy taste that I found best suited to putting into smoothies, energy balls or raw chocolate. For a real kick I found that putting slightly more than my morning dose in Raw chocolates to have before going out in the evening gave me a positive energy, kind of like a shot of Tequila that makes you want to dance all night.
