We had many moving entries for our LuckyMe competition, and it was very hard choosing a winner. In the end we decided to give our top ten entries all 10 % off their next Raw Living shop. They all got some LuckyMe bars thrown in as well - Michaela Adams, our superwinner, was rewarded with five bars!

We'll be running more competitions throughout the year, so keep a lookout, because we love reading your entries, and we'd love you to win some free goodies!

We asked you, why can you say LuckyMe? What do you have to be grateful for? What makes you blissed and blessed?

SuperWinner Michaela Adams (picture, top right)

Thank you for sharing your moving story Michaela. Bliss you and bless you!

I slowly am starting to feel really blissed and blessed and it's not down to things particularly 'going my way', it's not down to how many things i have, how well I'm doing on my college course, how 'planned out' my life is but it's to do with my outlook that I'm gradually learning.

I'm 18 years old and I've been depressed, bulimic and tried to end my life. I've felt hopeless before and worthless. I've felt like a failure in everything I've done and I've felt dreadfully alone before. I thought I could never get healthy, could never be happy and could never be content. But it's all starting to change!

I decided to go vegan and have been for nearly two years. I wanted to do something for the other creatures that I share the planet with. I felt it was wrong to abuse them for my own selfish needs and with this I made my own change. So thank you to all the people that helped me become vegan. Thank you to the people who explained what really went on but then explained how I personally could help change this and thank you to all the people who have listened to why I am vegan and taken something away from it.
I was living with my parents until a few months ago and we really weren't getting on. I met up with a friend of mine. We talked and I realised things weren't going so well for her either. She has a beautiful two year-old son and the father isn't there anymore. She needed my help and I needed hers. Now we live together in a lovely house. Thank you to the universe for bringing us together! Thank you to my housemate for being such an amazing support. Thank you to her child for being so bouncy and vibrant and bringing real joy into our new home! Thank you to the land for giving me my own space and thank you to my parents for realising that I needed this and for them supporting me.

Thank you to all the people who've encouraged me and who've believed in me and my abilities even when I felt I couldn't go on. Thank you to the people who have shared with me and laughed with me and danced with me. Thank you to the people who care about me and thank you to the people who may never know how much I care about them. Thank you to the girl at work who introduced me to raw foods! Who made me realise there is a way I can eat normally! And not even normally ...I can eat and be the healthiest and happiest person I can ever wish to be. Food is no longer my enemy. It's my best friend and it's what brings me closer to others too. I love having people round our lovely home and making them the tastiest and most fun foods! Thank you to all the things and people I've most likely forgotten! And finally, thank you for giving me the opportunity to realise how lucky I really am.

From the girl who was trapped in her own unhappiness but is now realising how blissed and blessed she can be if only she lets herself.

'Oh, thank You, thank You! A new gift! Wow! You are so good to me. Thank you for this new garment of bliss! It is so beautiful, it scintillates, it radiates, it shimmers and shines! Oh, it is so beautiful! Thank You for giving it to me. I can hardly wait to put it on. Can I try it now? Oh, it is so beautiful. Thank You for helping me put it on. You are so wonderful! You give me such wonderful gifts!

It feels so good! It is so pretty! Oh, such joy! It's bubbling! I can't keep from smiling! Oh my, thank You! I have so many new garments to choose from now: the garment of love, of faith in You and in myself, the garment of victory, of motherhood and now of bliss. They are so beautiful, so elegant, so comely.

Oh, I don't ever want to go back and put on my old rags. I sometimes have such a hard time even finding my way to the closet. Please help me God. I am so sorry that I sometimes dress so shabbily when now I know I am so special to You. Help me remember to put on my royal garments. They are so beautiful, so excellent. I want to show You how much I treasure the life You have given me by wearing the garments You have given me. Forever.'

From winner Melina Murphy:

Yes! I feel super lucky that I can choose bliss and thrival. I love my crazy life and all the people in it. Challenges, happiness, tears, joy. The creator expresses himself through all emotions and how much fun is it that I can experience all the creativity of the one creator and discover my superpowers through that. Gratitude for all the unique beings in this super exciting time on this planet that we can inspire each other and provoke each other's thinking into higher and higher dimensions. Gratitude for service to others in the integration of the realization of ONENESS! Yes!

From winner Kristin Domin:

Why am I blissed and blessed?

Where do I start ?!

Lets start at the beginning....last year, I had numerous health problems, including, chronic fatigue, IBS, skin problems, depression, blood sugar issues...the list goes on. I had nearly given up, until one day I wandered into a Chinese herbalist and asked if there are any herbs that would help IBS. They said yes ! However, they also said acupuncture is very helpful in reducing the symptoms of IBS. I decided to give it a try, there was nothing to lose! I felt very relaxed and felt such a lift in my mood after just one session. However, my family was not too impressed when I told them and so my Dad asked a lady at his work who is into natural therapies about how safe acupuncture is and if it actually works. She said it would help but only in the short term, you have to sort out the underlying issues. Well, my heart sank - yet another waste of time and money! Then the lady at my Dad's work who studied with Barbara Wren (CNN) said she would like to help me. So, to cut a long story short, she took my case history and sorted out my diet, and introduced techniques such as castor oil packing.

That was a year ago this month. I can't say it's been an easy year, because it's been a roller coaster of emotions, detox symptoms, and being totally confused of what to eat! But now, I no longer have the chronic fatigue, my bowel problems are under control, my skin is glowing, I LOVE life and I am so so grateful to have been introduced to the magical and amazing world of RAW FOOD! I am not 100% raw but I about 70% and LOVING IT. So I thank EVERYONE at Raw Living who has given me this chance to really find out who I am. Since eating raw foods I feel so at peace and so happy. I have made huge plans for my future that I never thought possible and want to achieve all my goals! I was recently introduced to "positive thinking and affirmations" and what a difference in my life, my whole outlook on life has changed and I no longer moan and complain. I THANK everyone for being in my life and for being healthy.

I was given a second chance to live my life the way I was meant to, and without the help of everyone that has supported me over the last year it would have been impossible! I have a gratitude crystal that sits on my window ledge and every morning or everytime I see it, I thank everything I love in my life! I have a vision board on my wall with every dream and goal and item I want to achieve or receive. I send my love to god/the universe and know my dreams will come true! I know this is a long answer but I just want to share my story with everyone...if anyone is suffering out there, you CAN enjoy and love life-start thanking everything you love in your life and you will receive so much love and happiness you can't imagine! I could list everything I am thankful and grateful for in my life but the bottom line is...I am thankful for EVERYTHING...even the ups and downs.....these have made me the stronger person I am today!!

Jenna Muir is a winner! (picture, third right)

Why am I lucky when in the last few weeks I have been in a car accident & lost a lot of money due to a company going bankrupt?

Well, I was hurt and in a lot of pain due to an accident, but am well again and feel sooo appreciative to be alive. I have no car, but appreciate being able to walk sooo much. I have lost money but I still can buy food and pick fantastic wild food for free.

As I sit in the sun with my feet in a burn, surrounded by the most beautiful countryside in the world with my gorgeous dog beside me, Oh Yes I truly am a LUCKY ME.

What happens shapes up, defines us and we can either grow or wither - I choose to grow! I look at my fiance and our two gorgeous toddler girls and OK, we don't have much in the way of material possessions, but we have a blast!

Deborah Marsh is a winner!

I truly feel blessed, and grateful! Over the past few weeks I have been dealing with challenges... I have had special friends and family come to my side to provide support and assistance during these challenging times... I feel so blessed! What more can you ask for? I can't wait to be in a position to give back! The kindness and generosity that these individuals have brought to me has meant so much to me! I'm thankful, and hopeful, that these challenges will pass soon, and that I will be able to give back to others and make them feel as good as I feel right now!

We hope you found these entries as inspiring as we did. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our media was always full of such uplifting and motivating stories? How differently we would feel about the state of the world...
